Torquay Festival 2011 – A 2 day street show:
10th and 11th September 2011 The line-up will include singers, dancers, comedians, street entertainers, poets, jugglers and clowns.
Market stalls from Castle Circus to the Harbour.
The Offshore Bar Torquay is to make even more fun over the weekend. There will be Mini Bays-Beer festival at Offshore on Sunday + a special festival Menu.

Classic Car Show - Torbay Carnival Week Sunday
The new single from Metronomy is called “The Bay” and the local group filmed the video in Torquay. There are some great scenes showing various parts of Torbay in full sunshine including Princess Pier, Torre Abbey Gardens, Meadfoot and aerial views of the bay.

Paignton is to have a new cycle path along the seafront from The Redcliffe Hotel to the Harbour.
Torbay Council is keen to promote cycling to improve health and fitness. it is expected to be ready for the summer with special bike lanes marked. The £10,000 project is being developed with the help of Sustrans

After a perfect weekend in sunny Torbay I was just in time to catch the sun finally setting over Torquay on Sunday evening.

It was a busy weekend in Torbay with lots of visitors around. The beaches were full and the air had the wonderful smell of outdoor food being prepared on barbecues.
Looking forward to next weekend and hoping the beautiful weather continue.
